Pure Love Is Who We Really Are

We are trained from an early age to seek happiness elsewhere. This falsity is reinforced by everyone in our society. It is so ingrained and subtle at times that most of us do not even think to question it. We go about our days without ever really taking the time to learn about ourselves and where our belief system stem from. It is only when we start to question things that we then began to unveil our true selves.

It is important for us all to learn as much as we can as we grow, and then we must unlearn everything.

We live in a society that desires the majority of people to be shaped into the exact same mold- a society that has stripped us of our own, individual selves. What’s missing in our society is the allowance for people to learn who they really are. The divine is inside us all, but unfortunately lays dormant for most because of the prefixed ways we go about our lives.

We need to encourage people to live according to their inner truth. We need to teach the power of meditation, mindfulness and positive thinking from the start. We are surrounded by the exact opposite, and it is no wonder why there is so much conflict in the world and conflict in ourselves. We require nothing more but the knowledge of our own true selves. When we quiet our minds, the divine in us awakens and surfaces. Only then do we understand true Love…

When we think, act and feel Love, we are God. It really is that simple. When we are Love, we are everything. This is our birthright.

Believe with Conviction

How do we succeed in a world seemingly troublesome? Easy. We begin with a belief.

When we change our view of this thing called life from the inside out, we can begin to see things through the eyes of the Divine. Always, always start here. For when you do, you will undoubtedly find the hidden treasure.

We are made perfect, whole and complete. When we encounter limiting beliefs, it is we ourselves that must push beyond them. Do not resist. Allow this transformation to happen.

Affirmation:

Today I believe with conviction and dare to dominate! As I reach my full potential, I rejoice in knowing that anything I desire can come to be.

Recognize ALL of How You Feel

If you’ve watched the movie Inside Out, one thing is made clear, all of our emotions are important to us.

In the movie Joy was dismissing Sadness, as she was fearful of what any drop of sadness inside of Riley could do to her being. What Joy later came to understand was how we must learn to be open to all of our emotions, none excluded, in order to grow as individuals.

Unfortunately, many of us learned at an early age to identify our Self as the emotion we are experiencing. We do this automatically when we say things such as, “I’m sad.” We don’t recognize just how powerful this way of identifying ourself can leave us. It’s as if everything around us is then tainted when we view the world from this frame of reference.

Learning to identify which emotions we are experiencing is a wonderful skill. Once we accept which feelings are present, they loose power over us. We can make the shift from saying, “I AM sad” to “sadness is present here.”

It may seem subtle but when we gain awareness of our Self, it becomes more clear that we are not our emotions. We are in fact something greater.

You. Are. More.

It seems like so many people feel as though they are not enough. They wish they could be prettier, smarter, more successful, happier… But what if I told you each and every one of us is exactly enough?!

We tend to get lost in those self limiting thoughts in our head. We “think” no one could understand so we put on our masks and go about the day, just waiting for it to end.

But what would happen if we allowed ourself to be vulnerable and share our true self with the world? What if we could speak to how we truly felt out loud without fear of judgement? What if we could trust that others would receive us openly with love and tenderness alone each step of the way?

Many times, when we lead with our struggles we invite others to do just the same. We welcome others to be Real and join us full heartedly in this thing called Life.

Let’s make the switch from desiring some notion of perfection to gaining comfort in who we truly are. With our entire Being.

You are perfect just the way you are.

Be Your Own Investment

One must make the time to stop and ask themself, what constitutes success.

In this day and age, we seem to get lost in the endless advertisements that lure us in and claim happiness is just a purchase a way.

We falsely believe that the more we have and can accumulate, the more successful we are or will be. We all seem to easily get lost in the “if I only had that, I would be happy” type thinking. But obtainment does not equate to happiness…

I have more recently learned to measure success differently. Success to me now comes in the form of Inner Peace. Being able to connect within and feel Faith firsthand. The awareness that no matter what external challenges I will face, I can overcome. I can control my own destiny.

Defeat merely comes in the way of thought. With that said, so too does success.

When I become aware, stop, and refine my thoughts until they serve me, I unveil the peace within. This is the simple yet complex solution to personal liberation. I am whole and complete on my own. I require nothing external to grant this to me. And the same is true for you.

Lets make it our mission to support others to recognize this truth. We are capable of rising above anything and this Truth begins with a thought. Thoughts pave our journey and the more we learn to control our thoughts, the more we learn to live.

Experience itself will offer challenge but we must recognize we can rise above anything that comes are way. Nurture your inner self and allow the love within to find expression. That is true success. Be your own investment.

What ways do you invest in yourself?

Endless Possibilities

Maybe we have the idea of happiness all wrong. We are so focused on wanting to be happy that we often look for it in all of the wrong places. True happiness is not something anything external can offer us. We seem to understand this intellectually and yet we continue to strive for it elsewhere… outside of us.

Rather than desiring happiness, let’s shift our focus on cultivating wellness. There are many things seemingly beyond our control but we do indeed have control over our thoughts.  By recognizing that Divinity resides in each one of us, we no longer have to be imprisoned by our own self defeating beliefs. When we turn inward, we become aware of the endless pool of beauty that is there for us to access at any given time. Our essence is pure.  Anything that tries to counteract with this Truth should not be given credence.

One must learn to guard the Mind, only allowing thoughts rooted in Love to lead the way.

Imagine what it could feel like if we learned to reside in this state of infinite glory at all times. Possibilities are endless. Right?

Happiness Is an Inside Job

Our words become alive at the conception of thought. Therefore we can never underestimate the power of our language.

We have heard the saying, “our thoughts become us.” What if we took this concept future and practiced a sense of control with our very own thoughts?

If we are in fact the thoughts that make us up, then the key to happiness should be simple. One must just believe they are already happy.

The “take this and you will be happy” type thinking is ingrained in our society everywhere but this is never truly the case. We have to move away from seeking happiness elsewhere.

Let’s begin shifting our search for happiness from outside of us and allow our internal birthright of happiness to surface. It’s time to explain, we ARE happy.

Practice this Truth and the world is yours…

Perspectives

When we think of the concept of detachment, I would gather most people immediately think in terms of tangible, material things.

Intellectually, many may understand the misdemeanor of happiness resulting from the accumulation of possessions, but how freeing is it when people take the time to understand what deeper possessions they carry within them?

It’s not so much these “materials” that do not belong to us that create internal conflict when seeking happiness, but rather the meanings of those things we need to learn to detach from. It is typically the meaning and opinion placed upon belongings that result in feelings of despair.

Perhaps the deeper problem is when we fail to focus on the accumulation of belief systems we carry with us to each and every moment of our existence. We all carry prefixed notions and beliefs with us that deter us from being One with the moment.

Perhaps Buddhists were speaking of this deeper sense of detachment. Is it not the teachings of Ernest Holmes that each and every moment just IS? Do our personal experiences, or rather our lives, get downgraded because of the formulated opinions we have and inadvertently carry forth with us to each one of our moments?

When we learn to detach from the meanings and emotions that are so ingrained in us and shape our experiences, only then will we be rewarded with true happiness.

The moment must be free to be the moment without trying to experience anything more, without trying to understand or control it.

Selective Thinking

From the start to the end of our day, we give so much time and thought into all of the external things that surround us.

We can be very selective in what clothes we choose to wear, what home we reside in, and even what foods we put into our bodies but do we ever really take the time to be as selective when it comes to choosing our own thoughts?

What if we paid as much attention to how we care for ourselves inwardly as we do our outward appearance?

We have heard how positive thinking can be a healthy combat to deter the stresses of our day to day lives. We may even recognize the rewards of doing so intellectually but then why do we neglect to take the time to practice such a healthy skill?

We need to regain control over our lives by first recognizing how our living moments are a direct reflection of how we view the world. Ernest Holmes declared, “It is done unto you as you believe.” When we begin to apply this Truth to our every moment we understand how simple life really is.

We no longer need to search for something external to bring us a temporary sense of happiness, because we know that whatever we need is already obtained within.

Learning to undue faulty thinking that has eluded us for so long will grant us the true freedom of peace and happiness. As we proceed with our days, we must ask ourselves what thoughts are shaping our experience.

Watch how beautifully life will transform as you learn to allow positive thoughts to help pave the way. ALWAYS be selective in your thinking.
