Recognize Intent

Is there not a danger in saying that we should only measure people by their actions and dismiss their intent? Behind every action is intent.

Perhaps the more healthy way of experiencing the world is trying to understand.

Rather than differentiating how you do things versus others, or expecting others to do as you do, by gaining perspective we can welcome healing into our lives.

We could learn about others by learning more about ourselves.

Our highest self is pure and our intents stem from that part of us. When we intend anything other than beauty, it is because we foolishly permitted our prefixed notions to lead.

We are human. We make mistakes. We learn and grow as we proceed in our lives. Our one and only destination is to return us to love.

Behind every action is our intent for love however our bruises can misdirect us away from this truth from time to time.

It is our own responsibility to recognize this and work towards filtering out anything less than pure. This includes judgements as seemingly minor as the ones we keep to ourselves. There is nothing good that could stem from engaging in such. If we really want to understand others, we must first understand ourselves.

As humans, we have a need to belong. We need to feel part of something larger.

Only by taking the time to learn and understand others, can we recognize the unity in all we touch and dismiss any notion of separation.

We have to be mindful of how our conditioning alters experience, and quickly rectify any thoughts that do not lead us back to this truth.

Life is not everyone else wronging us, but learning, growing and recognizing the part we play in all of it.

We are truly more alike than different and when we begin to understand this truth, we begin to view all experience from a healthy frame of reference.

We can continue to judge or we can begin to gain perspective.

Highest Self

Allow your highest Self to lead. My highest Self is pure. It’s essence is divine. And as I walk through this journey I have no real choice but to allow IT to guide me; for when I do, I am at peace with myself. I am so much more.

This alignment is nothing short of beautiful. Life flows freely and I recognize it’s mine to be had. I also recognize staying in this state requires work from me. At times, lots of work.

I am constantly being challenged externally. As life unfolds, I find myself slipping away from this state. But ahhh, I am blessed to be able to recognize when it is happening and that’s when I allow my faith to guide me back. That’s when I pull out all of the tools I’ve collected along the way and work to realign to my best Self.

I have learned to quiet my other choice of not doing such. Not pushing myself to view the world through my best lens. While it may appear easier at times, that choice always leaves me distraught. I recognize immediately that is not the me I want to nurture. In fact, I need to continue to allow that part of me to let go. To diminish from my existence as I transcend into something greater.

The heavy reacting, in ways, is the resistance. Reinforcing my trust against such strengthens the part of me that is best. It allows me to float perfectly through the waves, trusting I will swim ashore at just the right time. When I lean here, my best Self thanks me. My spirit is renewed and I know I’m doing everything right.

Life Becomes Her

As she moves away from fearing judgement, life becomes her.

As she is no longer held to imposed expectations, life becomes her.

As she focuses more on her own desires as opposed to everyone else’s, life becomes her.

As she chooses to listen to her own internal dialogue first, life becomes her.

As she develops internal strength that no one else can weaken, life becomes her.

As she moves away from caring about what you think of her and more about her own truth, life becomes her.

As she recognizes a beauty inside of her that no product would ever be needed to enhance, life becomes her.

As she begins to understand that she doesn’t even have to look in the mirror to measure beauty, life becomes her.

Here’s to all of the beautiful ladies learning to live true to themselves once more.
