Mental Healing

We will find what we manifest by means of thought. When our minds work towards righteousness, we undoubtedly are being heard and vise versa.

Individual thoughts are what pave the way for us as we proceed in this thing called life.

When our thoughts are harmful in nature, we lose sight of our true existence. All debilitating thoughts need to be neutralized in order to reflect our true selves. Healing occurs when we welcome healthy thinking and reject any false ideas at their root.

We cannot dismiss the powerful presence recognized within when our thoughts are pure in nature. When we feel ourselves align to our highest self, we emanate love in all we do.

Allow the Divine Mind to work for you, AS you, for then all things are possible.

“God IS, therefore I AM.”

Trust the Process

When we learn to view everything from a lens that is perfect, whole, and complete our lives suddenly take on a whole new meaning. We recognize a higher purpose in all that we do.

The foundation has been laid for us all, but we must now discover this Truth for ourselves. It cannot be given directly to us. Only through trials and tribulations can we recognize Its existence. Our existence.

As we proceed with our own individual journeys, we learn good from evil. As we go forth on this continuum, we shed all, until only purity remains. We can’t simply be handed this awareness but must discover it for ourself, if it is meant to retain value for us.

In order for the puzzle to attract admiration, the pieces must be placed perfectly together to make it whole once more. The same is true for this thing called life. As we continue on, we must learn to recognize the perfection of the perfectly, imperfect parts.

We must have faith that every piece we eagerly search for in the box, is the prefect fit for our creation at large. We must trust the search, the work required, and even the failed attempts we make along the way, until every piece aligns just as it should. As intended. As designed.

This is life. The creation cannot exist without the pieces perfectly aligned nor does it hold value without the larger process at hand. We cannot rush the journey, just as we cannot eliminate our perceived struggles along the way.

The lessons of life are meant to transcend us further along in our paths and remind us of our existence, our wholeness. Just as the whole cannot be without the parts, we recognize there truly can be no separation.

Ernest Holmes emphasizes, “Man can learn only through experience until the time comes when he is in complete unity with God, then he will know without first having experienced.”

We must continue to experience and choose what is best meant for us. Through experience alone, we solidify only that which is absolute; that which is good.

When you are uncertain and feel you have lost your way, listen with certainty that there is a Divine Presence within you, leading you securely along the way.

Rise Above

Stop and ask yourself one question now. Do you exist solely to be defeated by your own thoughts?

This may sound strange at first but so many people take on the doom and gloom view and feel as though they are the only ones who have been dealt a bad hand in this thing called life. They compare themselves to others and are always left questioning, why me?

But should we learn to fold early on and accept this type of unhealthy thinking as truth or should we work towards shifting our perspective to a more healthier one?

The concern with self defeating thoughts are that they end up feeding the problem. Rather than fueling that which you are trying to resolve, discipline your mind to focus on solutions.

While sometimes solutions may mean very little in terms of actions, practicing acceptance and self compassion is a great skill that will promote resiliency along the way.

Resilience is defined as “the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.” In many ways, resiliency and faith go hand in hand.

We must trust with our all that no matter what external challenges may arise, we will overcome them. Challenges will not get the best of us. In fact, they will be the stepping stones needed in order for us to rise above.

Dr. Ernest Holmes spoke about the powerful connection between our thoughts and what happens to us.

Let’s learn to move past our own self defeating thoughts or as many say, stinking thinking, and begin to push well beyond them.

Learning to view our struggles as opportunities can be very liberating. If you feel like most days your living solely to survive, learning to shift your perspective to a more serving one can be a healthy place for you to begin.

Maybe our time here really is an opportunity for personal growth and as we work through our struggles, we learn to recognize just how much our own patterns of thought can add to our own distress. Once we understand this concept, we recognize how we are much more than our perceived struggles.

Dr. Ernest Holmes recognized the gift tucked away within and the importance of allowing it to spring forward. “There is a depth and meaning to your own being; if you can discover it, it will answer your own questions.”

Do not lose sight of your difficulties and the space between how you react to them. In many ways, we think and behave automatically. We have been conditioned to do such from early on and if we don’t take the time to recognize this, nothing will change.

Change comes from within, and within us, we have infinite intelligence and power available for us to access at any time.
